Focused and illuminating advice to help clients achieve their objectives
Our work starts with a discovery meeting. It comes at no charge. We’ll explore with you precisely what your objectives are and where the project is positioned within your organisation. One reason organisations are sometimes dissatisfied with consulting work is that insufficient attention has been given to what the work is seeking to achieve. We’re blunt about what can and cannot be delivered and we make alternative suggestions where necessary – for example, if and how research could be conducted to get the best actionable results.
 |
We go away and think. And, across our associates, exchange ideas. We’ll say very little until we have something interesting, actionable and strategically sound to say.
You then receive a formal written proposal, a full specification of what we will be doing together with desired outcomes, the timetable and costs. As we work on a time cost basis with agreed hourly rates or on a fixed cost per project, there are no horrible shocks. |
Not until you have ticked every box does implementation start. You receive regular updates on progress. Where substantial projects are being undertaken we will help clients divide the work into smaller manageable segments. Then, as each stage comes on stream, an evaluation is made to ensure that the project remains on plan, on time – and on beam.

Six ways clients benefit from our help: |
| Knowledge: the combined experience of our associates is formidable. Spanning all relevant fields and industries we will almost certainly have previous experience of the problem, strategic or technical that you face. |
 |
| Fresh opinion and a challenge to convention: for example testing whether a proposed new product or service really will deliver or identifying where more challenging and more creative thinking is required. |
| Skills transfer: passing on our skills and knowledge to clients through formal training or by working jointly on a project. |
Providing additional resource: when an important project needs to be delivered and your existing resources are fully extended.
|
| Advocacy and enthusiasm: we can help breathe new life into projects that have stalled because of other commitments. |
| Multi-disciplined approach: having a broad base of consultants and advisors across all the relevant disciplines enables us to ensure our proposals are presented in the relevant context. |
